The old kitchen was original to this late 1960s Indian Hill house. The owners had recently purchased the house with the intent of remodeling the kitchen. The clients enjoy cooking along with entertaining and needed a space that served their needs.
The kitchen employees two sinks. One used primarily for prep work. A large basin is used for the main sink. The oversized refrigerator has a paneled front in the same style as the cabinet doors. The cabinets in the island are stained which provides more of a furniture look. Small chandeliers also hang over the kitchen island. The backsplash tile is set on the diagonal. A more intricate tile design is centered on the large gas stove and oven. Undercabinet lighting gives additional task lighting along with providing a more dramatic feel at night.
